A farm manager supervises staff, monitors crops and animals, and handles
various administrative tasks. Farm managers prepare budgets and reports, purchase supplies,
maintain relationships with vendors and clients and ensure maximum profitability.
The work of the Farm Manager is to analyze existing operations, crops, livestock, staff, and financial
documents and recommends improvements, prepare plans and schedules for planting and
harvesting and ensuring staff understand expectations, visit the different divisions to inspect
crops, livestock, and also perform tests on soil and water, ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides,
and other supplies are regularly restocked, scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement
of equipment and machinery.
An experience of 3 to less than five years is needed with the qualification of a Secondary
(high) school graduation certificate for this Canadian job as a Farm Manager. When you work
for 40 hours per week, you will be paid $24.00 hourly.

Responsibilities: Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings; Manage overall operation
of a farm; Organize and co-ordinate planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities; raising
