Blockchain startup Circle is moving forward with plans to launch new investment-related products, unveiling a new set of apps for release next year.
Although the startup did not reveal much details – including its exact launch date – it revealed its plan for the "Circle Invest" application in a new post on its website today. # 39; hui. In earlier statements to CoinDesk, Circle said it was looking to create such tools for investors following the acquisition of a startup called Trigger Finance.
"Be one of the first to try our new digital investment product, coming in 2018," wrote Circle, adding that it would not involve any commission and would include features for a "variety of coins". A screen capture of the application lists bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum, litecoin and XRP as supported currencies.
Discrete disclosure comes as the price of bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, approaches the price level of $ 10,000.
It also follows a series of product announcements from the firm, including that of CENTER, an ethereum-based system to allow transactions between different digital portfolios.
Although product details remain limited, on the Circle website stated:
"Circle started in 2013, and we have been working in crypto since then, we are excited to unveil our latest effort."
