"Enough already."

This is the message that billionaire Mike Novogratz has had for the Twitter account @Bitcoin, whose operator recently jumped on the Bitcoin Cash Bitcoin train.

In response to a post saying that Bitcoin Cash is the "oldest cryptocurrency" and that BTC is "an experimental currency" that is essentially two years old, Novogratz replied that "the core of Bitcoin is BTC."

"Quite already. The core of Bitcoin is BTC.C is a store of value. It is digital gold. Its stock market capitalization overshadows bitcoin money. He said, "If you want to be a payment currency by definition, you must have a stable value. So why possess it? "

Former Fortress partner, who recently raised $ 250 million to establish the Galaxy Digital Cryptocurrency business bank in Canada, argued that bitcoin is analogous to gold, an asset that is hardly ever used for payments in the modern world.

"When did you buy something with gold for the last time? Nobody does it. It's just a store of value," he said.

Novogratz's comments on whether BTC or BCH is the true heir to the "Bitcoin" coat come as the dispute between the two factions warms up.

Recently, Roger Ver's Bitcoin.com fanned the flames by modifying its block explorer to list BCH as "Bitcoin" and BTC as "Bitcoin Core".

This, unsurprisingly, provoked a huge reaction from Bitcoin Cash critics – many of whom derisively refer to him as "Bash" – and a cohort launched a campaign to launch a class action against Ver.

This initiative proved to be short-lived because the legal fund failed to raise enough donations to launch the campaign.

Still, he has apparently been successful on one point because Bitcoin.com has quietly reversed the change that he had brought to his block explorer.

Meanwhile, CoinMarketCap – by far the most popular crypto-currency price tracking site – has quietly removed a link to Bitcoin.com from the Bitcoin Currency Page. Previously, the website – as well as Bitcoin.org, founded by Satoshi – had been listed as a near-official resource on CMC.
