When you're far from Silicon Valley, there's a lot of weird and cool things happening. Take Glovo, for example. This super-lean delivery app, surprisingly popular, has come out of Spain in Italy and South America and has filled the niche that Seamless and Postmates fill in major American cities. This startup, led by Sacha Michaud and Bartek Kunowski, is a unique service with a strong customer base.
I spoke with Michaud and Kunowski in Barcelona to understand what needs to be done to get out of the shadows of the valley and how to manage the popular and usable service markets that most startups are unaware of .
