A new Slack Screen Sharing feature will expand the platform's collaboration capabilities by allowing small business teams, freelancers and customers to work together as they're in the same piece.
Slack just announced that users can now invite their colleagues to write, code, design and simply work together from a shared screen to contribute. The new feature allows groups to do things together on a platform without jumping between applications.
For small businesses and the fast growing independent labor force, this means getting a high quality application that reaches a maximum of $ 15 per user for a monthly service. The cost will be affordable, even for some small businesses.
Start to invite your colleagues
As for the other features that Slack has added, just a simple click of a button to launch the new collaboration feature. In this case, the "Share control of your screen" button of a Slack call will give the people you want to collaborate with their own slider.
Once they get it, they can type, edit, scroll and click on what is shared on the screen.
Users who do not control can temporarily draw on the split screen to highlight a particular point. This includes changing a number, cells on a spreadsheet, words in a sentence, or anything else. And like any Slack call, you can even add an emoji reaction.
Uses for Game Screen Sharing
During the beta test, companies used screen sharing in various industries. An example Slack overlooks his official blog is Zapier, explaining the company's "taps interactive screen sharing so that two or more people can work together sorting out bugs and responding to customer tickets."
You too can bring your small business workforce together and collaborate with interactive features, whether in the field, at the office or at home.
If you want to try the new interactive feature, you must use a paid plan running the latest Windows desktop application or direct download version of the Mac desktop application.
