The only word that will change your life

I was pissed off.

Burns.

Here I spoke with a client who demanded the impossible.

This was not the first time I had these types of conversations.

I asked "When do you want delivery?"

"Next week" was the answer.

My short answer.

"Yes … we can do it"

I was traveling that week and had to shoot sleepless nights to give birth to a dysfunctional mountaineer.

You know.

Those who know more about politics than about performance.

I slept in the car to recover while my partner was driving.

My back office team worked 18 hours a day.

But we delivered.

At the hour.

A few weeks later, the client said that we do not provide sufficient service.

They had found another supplier.

At the time I was devastated.

But the truth.

I realized a few months later that I should have fired the client first.

I did not even take them.

I learned that not all clients were worth working.

Life is too short

It's hard

Business can be difficult and life can be difficult.

But many of us are encouraged to be kind.

Nice and consistent.

Share our toys.

Agree with our parents.

Say yes to the teacher.

Obey your elders.

Always help.

And nothing wrong with those.

These are rites of passage.

And necessary.

We must live together, have productive and friendly communities and continue.

On the way?

Working with people is a valuable skill.

This allows us to build relationships.

Attracting friends.

Develop personal business networks.

But as you get older, this constant attitude can be a problem.

He takes away your freedom.

Your life is centered on everyone.

Helping them with their goals.

Their dreams.

And there is nothing wrong with that.

If that does not prevent you from growing, learning, and making a difference.

Reach your passionate goal.

Do an important job.

Going with the crowd

Say "yes" just to please and be nice.

Go with the crowd.

Can prevent you from getting ahead in life and as an entrepreneur.

While your goals, your dreams and your priorities are penned.

You help other people to go from the front.

We must all be better to say another word.

A shorter word.

This word is "no"

So …

When should we say no?

It's easy to say but hard to do but it's worth it.

Here are some ideas.

Do not tell those who just want to use you.

Say no to spending time with those who are constantly negative.

Say no to activities that diminish you.

Say no to tasks that are not important.

Say no to poisonous and dysfunctional clients.

Say no to distractions that move you away from your passionate goal.

Say no to theater-based relationships.

It's time to reveal the rebel.

The madman.

Who makes the difference and gives himself the time and the space to change the world.

Sometimes you will be called selfish.

But if you want …

Write a book.

Start a business.

Create a masterpiece.

Make a life.

Saying no more often will be a habit you have to learn.

For some of us, it will be difficult to pronounce only once.

But you will have to start practicing by saying "No" a lot more often.

To learn that it is a habit and a skill to develop.

Starts today.

It's time to say nothing.

Put up the sign "do not disturb".

Important things happen.

And that will change your life.
