The status of the Ethereum portfolio promises $ 1 million for the new Bounty Bug program

Ethereum's mobile wallet status, which recently raised more than $ 100 million at a symbolic sale, announced a $ 1 million bonus.

Announced today at the Devcon3 conference of the ethereum developers, the program invites people to submit possible solutions to the problems facing the portfolio today.

While initial premiums will be used to compensate people who find bugs in Status's own software, as well as other useful tasks, a spokesman told CoinDesk that more funds will be collected for bugs from other open source projects in the future.

In addition to this, employers can browse the premium site for emerging talent – a potentially useful feature because many companies complain that there are not enough developers to fill the many open roles in blockchain projects.

Also announced at Devcon, Status has developed a hardware portfolio – a dedicated storage device that supports ERC-20 chips and uses Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth to transfer cryptocurrencies if needed.

The mobile wallet of Status (for Android and iOS) allows users to send and receive ether (cryptocurrency native to the ethereum) and allows users to browse the collection of & # 39; 39; decentralized applications (dapps) built on ethereum.

With its full chests following the recent symbolic sale, Status is one of the leading sponsors behind the Devcon3 conference in Cancun, Mexico, this year.
