The tale of the maid receives the green light for season 3

The tale of the servant the favorite dystopian drama of the United States, will return for a third season.

Hulu announced the news this morning in the wake of revealing that he hit 20 million subscribers for his streaming service.

The second season of The Handmaid's Tale is currently airing on Hulu, with the third episode available today.

The series is based on the 1985 Margaret Atwood novel of the same name. In this document, humanity has become mostly infertile, which has led a conservative militia to overtake the country and enslave the remaining fertile women as children for the "balanced" families of the regime.

In the first season, the story was centered on the exhibition of the New World as well as on our main character, Offred (June) and her maid life. Season 2 seems to be expanding on this world and on our main character, showing both good and bad personality of his character.

The Handmaid's Tale is by far the most popular and critically acclaimed original series of Hulu, winning five Emmys last year, including one for the Best Drama series .
