Let me tell you what entrepreneurs should not really think about in 2017: who is the president. Of all the factors that could determine your success, if you think that sitting in the oval office is the key, you are mistaken.
The quality of your product or service, the way you support it and the speed with which you improve it are a thousand times more important than the president who heads the Congress and sits on the Supreme Court .
Here's what you should not only think hard but do :
- Marketing of a prototype. All other stuff disappears when you ship.
- Construction of a social media platform. Social media is the best thing that has happened to entrepreneurs because it is a fast, free and ubiquitous marketing.
- Hire people who are better than you in their functional areas. If you are the best at each function, you are surrounded by losers.
It's "everything" you need to do. The rest will follow.
