The only bitcoin exchange in Zimbabwe,, is preparing for Segwit2x, the second bitcoin of November 16, while world prices exceed the level of $ 7,000. In Zimbabwe, prices are now close to $ 14,000.

The fork of November 16 to create Segwit2x follows an earlier split that recently created Bitcoin Gold. There is a widespread feeling that current and future ranges will not significantly disrupt Bitcoin, but traders and stock exchanges are already taking into account and preparing for divisions.

The Golix exchange in Zimbabwe took into account today Bitcoin Gold that occurred last week but that was only done in Zimbabwe this week . The interest in Bitcoin trade has increased phenomenally in Zimbabwe as the country continues to experience shortages of foreign currency.

"Last week, the bitcoin network had a fork which is now known as Bitcoin Gold.If you are a bitcoin holder, you will receive free units of the new bitcoin range equivalent to the amount of bitcoin that you hold, "said Golix in an e-mail to traders on Thursday.

He further stated that traders already holding bitcoins on Golix at the time of the fork "then you do not need to take action because we will automatically credit your wallet". Zimbabwean traders use Bitcoin to make international payments such as vehicle purchases and other e-commerce transactions.

Although the Bitcoin Gold fork took place last week, Golix sought to "minimize downtime, interruptions and give us more time to test the security and stability of the Bitcoin Gold chain. ".

"We will only list the Bitcoin Gold wallets and credit of those who held bitcoin at fork time after the Segwit2x fork came in. We expect it to be in about 2 weeks."

The exchange says that he is now ready for the second fork, Segwit2x expected on November 16th. After the Segwit2x bifurcation, Golix will continue to "refer to the current bitcoin chain as bitcoin and forked bitcoin as Bitcoin2X, regardless of which chain accumulates the most difficulties" in Zimbabwe.

Following the two ranges, for Bitcoin trading purposes in Zimbabwe, Golix says that the current bitcoin chain will continue to use the BTC currency symbol while Bitcoin Gold will use the BTG currency symbol.

The Segwit2x channel will use the B2X currency symbol while after the Segwit2x range, the trading platform will change the Bitcoin Cash currency symbol from BCC to BCH.
